RetroSpectiveResource Packsfor Minecraft adds a very simplistic but detailed and well created set of textures into the game of Minecraft. I really like how the textures stay true to the theme of Minecraft but give it a more defined and lightened look. It makes the game look like an old Retro game because of the block design, which lead to the name: The RetroSpective Texture Pack for     Minecraft 1.7.4 For Free  . Everything about the Texture Pack makes the game look retro, and really cool. It does live up to its name which means that the developer succeeded in creating a retro themed, good, Texture Pack!

RetroSpective Texture Pack for Minecraft 1.7.4 Pros and Cons

  Pros  

  1. 16×16 resolution so no need for a patcher and there is little if any increase in LAG. You can check your FPS by hitting the F3 key while in game. Look up the top left hand corner to FPS: (number). The higher the number is, the better.
  2. Lighter textures that make the game way more colorful and retro!

  Cons  

  1. Quite simplistic and some textures have less detail.
  2. No addition to detail resolution wise.

RetroSpective Resource Packs installation

  1. Download the RetroSpective Texture Pack for Minecraft 1.7.4 zip file.
  2. Browse to %appdata%/roaming/.Minecraft and open the ‘Resource Packs’ folder.
  3. Drag  in the downloaded RetroSpective Texture Pack zip file for Minecraft 1.7.4 into the Resource Pack folder.
  4. Run Minecraft and select your Texture Pack under the Resource Packs menu/settings selection.
  5. Launch a world and enjoy the new Texture Pack!
  6. Finished.

Descended from Heaven to Hell Texture Pack

 Descended from Heaven to Hell Texture Pack is quite dark and holds many textures that are unique. Textures that I have never seen a Texture Pack such as this one. In many ways it is very well made and well developed however in other ways the Texture Pack has a lot of room for improvement. I really enjoy a lot of the features thisTexture Packbrings, such as the huge change in texture layout/design. For example the images below will show how different the textures really are.

Recommend:

  Minecraft 1.7.2 Download 

I also really enjoy how the textures seem to get darker depending on where they are located. For example the textures on the surface of your map will be lighter and more friendly. However as you descend they tend to get darker until almost hellish and evil. I really enjoyed this Texture Pack and I cant wait to see it progress.

How to install Descended from Heaven to Hell Resource Pack

  1. Download the Descended from Heaven to Hell Texture Pack zip file for Minecraft 1.7.4.
  2. Browse to %appdata%/roaming/.Minecraft and open the Resource Packs folder.

  4. Close all tabs.
  5. Launch Minecraft and select your Texture Pack inside the Resource Packs menu/settings selection.
